Magni gyros are extraordinary in their
reliability and maintainability. They use proven and readily
supportable Rotax engines designed specifically for aircraft
applications. The Rotax engine installation design on Magni gyros
are approved specifically by Rotax. With recommended
maintenance, Rotax recommends 1500 hour TBO for the 912ULS engine,
and 1200 hour TBO for the 914UL (turbo) engine. These engines
are legendary for their performance and reliability, and with proper
maintenance can provide reliable power for up to 2000 operating
hours.
The airframe is all welded 4130 aircraft
steel for high strength and reliability and very minimal
maintenance. Cyclic controls are all 4130 steel with real
bearings at every joint for very minimal slop, wear or required
maintenance.
Magni gyros are also
extraordinary in their safety and stability - probably the most stable,
easiest to fly, easiest to learn to fly, and most comfortably safe
aircraft in even very turbulent winds. Magni gyros are built for
safety with their proven aerodynamic stability and performance, their
rugged and durable steel frames, and their precise and tight control
systems. The Magni rotor system employs unique technology,
configuration and production controls for the smoothest rotor system
available. As a testament to such safety and performance quality,
in order to ensure Magni standards of safety and performance, the Magni
gyro factory in Italy requires extensive development and testing prior
to production release
